REGENT is building Seagliders—wing-in-ground-effect aircraft that travel just above water at 180 mph with 180-mile range on current battery technology. The company is scaling from prototype to full production and seeking a Program Operations Manager to design and operate the program management infrastructure for Viceroy, the flagship program.
In this role, you will build the program operating system from the ground up, including program cadence (reviews, risk boards, action/decision tracking), gate readiness machinery for PDR/CDR phases, risk management processes, and program dashboards that give leadership an honest view of program health. You'll implement and administer tooling (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet) with workflows and documentation that teams actually use. You'll work directly with the Viceroy Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and VP of Programs, and your processes will become the template for REGENT's broader program portfolio as it grows.
Success means the program runs on systems rather than heroics: actions close reliably, risks get decisions, design reviews run cleanly, and gates are earned rather than discovered. You'll balance rigor with speed, adding structure only where needed, and treat program operations as a product that improves based on how the team actually behaves.
You should bring strong professional experience in program operations, planning/controls, or PMO roles on complex hardware development programs (aerospace, defense, marine, automotive). You've built program processes from scratch that teams kept using, have direct experience supporting PDR/CDR gates, personally build workflows and dashboards in enterprise tools, and demonstrate closure discipline for actions, decisions, and risks. You know the difference between discipline and drag, and you've killed processes that weren't earning their keep.
