Achievers is seeking a Program Manager III to independently lead medium-to-large cross-functional technical programs with limited oversight. This role is ideal for an experienced program management professional ready to drive complex initiatives across multiple teams and business stakeholders.
In this position, you will translate program objectives into executable plans, manage schedules, dependencies, risks, and communications, and drive accountability for successful delivery. You'll operate with significant autonomy, building practical delivery plans that align technical and business stakeholders while applying program management and Agile practices to provide clear visibility into program progress.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading medium-to-large cross-functional technical programs from planning through delivery, coordinating work across engineering teams and partners in Product, Design, Security, Data, Customer Operations, Go-to-Market, and other functions.
• Translating program objectives into integrated plans with clear milestones, deliverables, success measures, and ownership; managing schedules, scope, dependencies, risks, resources, quality, and delivery commitments.
• Building productive relationships across technical teams and business stakeholders; facilitating program discussions and decisions by clarifying options, trade-offs, risks, and delivery impacts.
• Creating clear communications that summarize program status, progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, and next steps; coordinating escalation and follow-up to remove barriers and reinforce accountability.
• Identifying and tracking program risks, cross-team dependencies, resource constraints, technical issues, and readiness concerns; developing mitigation and contingency actions with accountable owners.
• Establishing practical program governance, including roles, review cadences, decision tracking, escalation paths, and accountability; tracking metrics for program health, delivery progress, quality, readiness, and outcomes.
• Applying Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, iterative planning) based on program and team needs; supporting regular delivery of customer and business value through transparent plans and incremental roadmaps.
• Contributing to improvements in program execution and team processes by identifying recurring delivery gaps, sharing lessons learned, and helping teams adopt effective ways of working.

Requirements:
• Typically 6+ years of progressive program, project delivery, or technical operations experience, including ownership of cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Demonstrated success independently leading medium-to-large technical programs involving multiple teams and business stakeholders with limited oversight.
• Proven ability to build program plans, coordinate multiple teams, manage schedules, dependencies and risks, and drive accountability for delivery.

• Strong proficiency in program planning, scheduling, dependency and risk management, governance, metrics, communications, and delivery execution.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile principles and practices, with practical experience using Scrum, Kanban, iterative planning, or hybrid delivery models.
• Ability to apply fit-for-purpose delivery methods, support team flow and feedback, and improve predictability, quality, and customer value.
• Experience leading technology programs involving software platforms, cloud services, data, integrations, security, infrastructure, digital transformation, or comparable technical domains.
• Strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build alignment without direct authority.
• Strong judgment and analytical skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and connect execution details to program outcomes.
• Track record of contributing practical improvements to program execution and team processes and sharing useful lessons learned.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; an advanced degree may be beneficial.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or cloud platform credentials are valued when supported by demonstrated practical expertise.
• Adaptable and accountable, with a consistent record of delivering effectively in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and high complexity.
