Salary: USD 145,000 - 180,000 / annual
Skydio is seeking a Program Manager to lead implementation and delivery for Law Enforcement customers, specifically serving as the primary liaison with the Los Angeles Police Department. This is a customer-facing role within the Mission Success team responsible for all aspects of contract success including project planning, technical execution, risk management, budget oversight, performance improvements, and scheduling.
You will translate customer requirements into actionable plans for Skydio's product and technical teams, managing complex deployments against cost, schedule, and technical requirements. The role requires deep engagement with senior law enforcement officials, understanding of drone technology and UAS software, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include designing end-to-end project deployment and integration activities, establishing strong relationships with law enforcement stakeholders, managing production programs, and communicating program risks and opportunities to business leaders. You will collaborate across Customer Success, Technical Support, Product, Marketing, Development, and Engineering teams.
Ideal candidates bring experience in professional services or program management for law enforcement agencies, proven success implementing new technology with agile teams, and familiarity with Law Enforcement/Federal program management including technology assessments, systems design, acquisition planning, and budget planning. Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and related software development is highly valued. FAA Part 107 certification is strongly encouraged within the first 60 days and required for certain positions. The role is based in Los Angeles and requires in-office presence.
