Paytm, India's leading mobile payments and financial services distribution company, is seeking a Senior Manager for Program Management focused on Lending Collections. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and operations, driving collections performance across Paytm's lending portfolio.
You will own the end-to-end collections strategy and analytics function, developing and implementing data-driven approaches to optimize recovery rates and reduce losses. Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and execute collection strategies across all lending products, ensuring consistent process adherence and continuous improvement through A/B testing and iterative refinement.
• Lead advanced analytics initiatives, including statistical modeling and big data analysis (structured and unstructured) to identify trends and generate actionable insights that directly impact the business bottom line.
• Conduct segmentation analysis using analytical tools and deploy tailored strategies across customer buckets and risk segments, including behavioral segmentation.
• Design and manage Champion-Challenger programs with rigorous Cost vs. Benefit analysis to drive higher resolution rates and optimize Account-to-Collection Ratios (ACR) by bucket.
• Forecast losses with increasing accuracy, breaking down loss forecasts into collections roll rates and recovery rates; track and optimize DRR (Delinquency Resolution Rate) across FTE, TC, Field, and Agency channels.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams and collection strategy support units to implement, control, and monitor strategy execution; automate processes and MIS reporting to improve productivity.
• Ensure all collection strategies meet regulatory requirements through individualized, compliant approaches.
This is a high-impact role where you'll work with a collaborative, output-driven team across Paytm's businesses, contributing to India's largest digital lending story and helping democratize credit for deserving consumers and merchants.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau preferred.
• SQL, R, or Python skills are additional assets.
• Demonstrated experience in collections strategy, analytics, or related program management roles.
• Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on large datasets.
• Experience with statistical modeling, forecasting, and segmentation analysis.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge in lending/collections is a plus.
