OpenAI is seeking a Program Lead to design and operate the partner program for technology partners, ISVs, and marketplace participants. This is an operational leadership role focused on turning partner strategy into a scalable, repeatable experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and run the end-to-end ISV and marketplace partner program, including eligibility, segmentation, tiers, benefits, and lifecycle stages
- Build repeatable onboarding, technical enablement, validation, listing, launch, and growth journeys for partners
- Establish program policies, documentation, service levels, governance, and escalation paths
- Create partner communications, education, office hours, playbooks, and self-service resources
- Develop program metrics and dashboards covering recruitment, activation, solution quality, adoption, revenue impact, and partner health
- Coordinate launches and program changes across product, engineering, GTM, marketing, legal, security, finance, support, and operations
- Capture partner feedback and translate it into program, product, and operating improvements
You will work across product, engineering, GTM, marketing, operations, legal, finance, security, and support teams. The role requires balancing rigorous systems and governance with thoughtful partner experience while moving quickly as the ecosystem evolves.
Ideal candidates have 8+ years in partner programs, marketplaces, ecosystem operations, business operations, or program management, with proven experience building or scaling technology partner or ISV programs. Strong understanding of SaaS, APIs, developer platforms, integrations, and B2B go-to-market motions is essential. You should demonstrate exceptional ability to convert ambiguous goals into clear processes and measurable outcomes, with demonstrated cross-functional execution and the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
