Salary: USD 120,000 - 145,000 / annual

Tines is a workflow automation platform founded in 2018 with co-headquarters in Dublin and Boston. The company powers intelligent workflows for customers including Canva, Databricks, Elastic, Kayak, Intercom, and McKesson, combining AI, automation, and integration capabilities. As a Professional Services Engineer II, you will serve as a technical authority within the Tines platform, specializing in integrating and optimizing workflow automation solutions for enterprise customers. You will guide customers through scoping automation Stories and workflows, design and build solutions in customer tenants, and ensure successful implementations that meet predefined success criteria. Key responsibilities include: - Scoping automation Stories and workflows based on customer requirements, identifying blockers and research areas - Analyzing customer tools, processes, and pain points to establish automation roadmaps - Designing and developing automation Stories and workflows in customer Tines tenants, connecting tools via APIs - Demonstrating concepts and wire-framing live on customer calls - Partnering with customers to ensure solutions meet requirements and providing guidance on test plans - Reviewing and suggesting optimizations for customer stories and workflows - Delivering documented, production-ready stories and ensuring long-term customer success - Acting as a resident automation engineer for customers, helping plan automation roadmaps - Collaborating with Engagement Management, Customer Success, Project Management, and cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Labs) - Contributing to the development of Professional Services processes and procedures - Advocating for the Professional Services team with Sales to communicate capabilities and achievements This role reports to the Senior Manager, Professional Services Engineering based in Boston, Massachusetts. **Requirements:** - 5+ years of experience delivering Professional Services and implementing SOAR platforms or similar automation solutions - Strong customer-facing skills and consultancy experience - Ability to serve as trusted advisor, guiding customers on best practices, architecture design, and platform adoption strategies - Experience interpreting and applying API documentation - Experience with API authentication methods including OAuth2 and JWT - Experience using and troubleshooting APIs to connect security and/or IT tools - General understanding of how LLMs, agents, and automation models work (capabilities, limitations, prompt design) - Ability to craft and refine prompts for reliable, accurate outputs - Proficiency in translating platform capabilities into customer-specific use cases, advising on AI-driven vs deterministic workflow aspects - Passion for supporting customers and helping automate repetitive and manual workflows - Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not available
