Checkmarx is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to join its dynamic team supporting enterprise customers across the Americas. This role bridges customer success and technical delivery for the world's leading AI-powered application security platform, trusted by 1,600+ customers in 70+ countries.
You will work with enterprise customers to design, plan, and implement comprehensive application security programs. Key responsibilities include consulting on secure SDLC deployments, delivering operational support across multiple customer accounts, and providing advanced training on Checkmarx platform capabilities, CI/CD integration, REST/SOAP APIs, and secure coding practices.
Your day-to-day work involves conducting code reviews with customers, designing and documenting complex implementations, building custom integrations and automation solutions, and training customer teams on platform usage and best practices. You'll guide enterprises toward sustainable AppSec platform implementations aligned with their business goals and existing technology stacks.
A critical aspect of this role is serving as the voice of the customer back to R&D. You'll identify product gaps, recommend fixes, develop field workarounds, and document lessons learned and best practices. This feedback directly shapes product design and roadmap decisions.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Java, .NET, and Python. You should be comfortable working with cutting-edge technologies, building scalable microservices, and translating complex technical concepts for enterprise audiences. A passion for application security, customer success, and continuous learning is essential.
