Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Production Program Manager to lead end-to-end execution of Sentry Deployments in Irvine, CA. This role bridges production, warehousing, and field operations to scale the global fleet and support high-volume expansion.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning, Production & Operations: Partner with planning, production, engineering, product management, deployment operations, and business development on strategic priorities. Develop standardized tower packout processes that work across all parties and enable efficient intake of returning components into maintenance and repair (MRO) processes. Drive DIP (Depot In-Process) strategy and execution, ensuring proper handoff between production, warehousing, and deployment operations. Ensure customer deliverables (700-21 documentation) and asset traceability across systems. Implement rework and upgrade processes for assets after storage and before deployment. Plan and execute deployment readiness for new XRST variants to accelerate time-to-market.
Deployment, Sustainment & Field Support: Support definition and execution of deployment strategy that scales efficiently with XRST while supporting other products across the fleet globally. Build internal production maintenance and repair approaches for legacy CI Towers. Use data and analytics to predict and prevent issues across deployed systems. Develop field support approaches for upcoming XRST variants optimized for lower cost at high volumes.
Field-to-Factory Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives converting field learnings into product improvements, production innovations, and process enhancements. Partner with Mission Integration and Sustainment Engineering to implement design-for-manufacturability and design-for-installation improvements. Turn operational lessons from XRST deployments into repeatable playbooks for faster launches and efficient scaling.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related technical field. 3+ years in operations program management, business operations, or engineering/technical roles, preferably in complex hardware industries. Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
Preferred: Strong manufacturing environment understanding, product launch experience with condensed timelines, project management methodologies (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma) and tools (Jira, Confluence, Gantt Charts), excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong cross-functional communication and leadership abilities, ability to thrive in fast-paced dynamic environments.
