Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company that owns and operates the full stack from energy generation to AI compute delivery. As Production Planning Manager, you will lead the production planning function for Crusoe's Manufacturing organization, ensuring production schedules, material availability, and manufacturing capacity align with rapid delivery of AI infrastructure products. You will manage a team of Production Planners and partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Program Management, Logistics, and Quality to optimize production flow, improve schedule adherence, and enable scalable manufacturing operations. This is a highly visible people leadership role combining strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Key responsibilities include: leading and developing the Production Planning team; driving Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) across organizational functions; owning the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, labor availability, and material readiness; optimizing manufacturing operations by monitoring performance and identifying bottlenecks; managing capacity planning to support both short-term execution and long-term growth; improving planning processes and standard work to support Crusoe's expanding manufacturing footprint; tracking key performance indicators including schedule attainment, on-time delivery, inventory health, and planning accuracy; supporting new product introductions (NPI) with Engineering and Manufacturing teams; and leveraging ERP/MRP systems for production planning, inventory management, and process improvement. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; 8+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, supply chain, or operations within manufacturing; 3+ years of direct people management experience leading production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations teams; experience managing MPS, MRP, and capacity planning in complex manufacturing environments; proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar); strong analytical skills with Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau); demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate with frontline teams and executive leadership; and experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles. Bonus experience includes high-growth manufacturing environments, advanced manufacturing, electrical systems, modular infrastructure, or data center equipment manufacturing.
