Destinus is a European aerospace and defense company developing AI-driven autonomous flight systems, advanced turbine engines, and hypersonic propulsion technologies. We are seeking an experienced Production Planner and Controller to join our UAV and aeronautical components manufacturing team in Hengelo, Netherlands.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring production processes run efficiently, on time, and within budget. Your key responsibilities include:
**Master Production Schedule**: Analyze sales forecasts and customer orders to develop production schedules and procurement plans aligned with delivery deadlines.
**Material Requirement Planning**: Coordinate with the Procurement Team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components. Manage supplier relationships to guarantee materials meet quality standards and delivery timelines. Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels.
**Production Monitoring**: Oversee execution of the production schedule with the Production Team to ensure deadlines are met. Track production progress and identify variances.
**Cross-Functional Coordination**: Collaborate with procurement, engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of finished goods to customers.
**Reporting and Documentation**: Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement and production performance, including schedule variances. Maintain organized records of product information, orders, and transactions.
**Budget and Planning Support**: Assist in preparation and monitoring of project budgets. Support development of project plans and schedules. Collaborate with Finance Team to track invoices, expenditure, and budget adherence.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
- Proven experience: 3-8 years in production planning, operations, or related role
- Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 F&O preferred)
- Knowledge of project management software (MS Project, Trello, Asana) is a plus
- Working fluency in English and Dutch required
