Anduril Industries is seeking a Product Support Engineer to join the Deployment Engineering team, which is responsible for the operational success and sustainment of cutting-edge defense technology products. This is an individual contributor role focused on ensuring optimal performance and longevity of advanced systems throughout their lifecycle. In this position, you will develop and maintain comprehensive sustainment plans for assigned products, serving as the primary point of contact for all sustainment-related matters. You will partner closely with customers, operations teams, and cross-functional engineering groups to define, implement, and continuously improve maintenance and repair strategies. Key responsibilities include ensuring the availability of up-to-date maintenance procedures, specialized tools, and accurate technical manuals for field operations. You will collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering teams during product development phases to integrate best sustainment practices and design-for-supportability concepts early in the process. You will create and maintain critical sustainment artifacts such as Service Bills of Materials (SBOM), provisioning lists, and support equipment lists, establishing a central repository for all sustainment data. Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in product support, sustainment engineering, or systems engineering within high-rigor environments such as defense, aerospace, advanced robotics, or complex industrial systems. You must demonstrate detailed technical expertise in applying mechanical or systems engineering principles to complex hardware systems, with hands-on proficiency in professional CAD software and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools. You should have foundational understanding and practical application of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, including maintenance planning, supply support, technical data management, support equipment, and training. Familiarity with military standards, specifications, and regulatory compliance is essential. You must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance and be able to travel for on-site support, field deployments, and customer engagements as required. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related engineering field; direct experience with sustainment methodologies such as Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), or Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) planning; proven track record of developing customer-facing sustainment artifacts; hands-on experience with enterprise tools such as Siemens NX, Teamcenter, JIRA, or Oracle; and direct experience with complex military, robotics, unmanned, or advanced defense technology systems.
