Anduril Industries is seeking a Product Support Engineer to join the Deployment Engineering team, which is responsible for the operational success and sustainment of cutting-edge defense technology systems. In this role, you will serve as a critical individual contributor developing and implementing comprehensive sustainment strategies for advanced defense products, ensuring their operational readiness and longevity in the field.
You will own the definition and execution of critical maintenance plans, technical data packages, sparing optimization, and lifecycle management for assigned products. Working closely with customers, operations teams, and cross-functional engineering groups, you will develop ground-up sustainment plans tailored to specific products and continuously improve maintenance and repair strategies based on field feedback.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the availability of up-to-date maintenance procedures, specialized tools, and accurate technical manuals for field operations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all sustainment-related matters within your assigned product team, proactively identifying and resolving issues. You will create and maintain critical sustainment artifacts including Service Bills of Materials (SBOM), provisioning lists, and support equipment lists, establishing a central repository for all sustainment data.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in product support, sustainment engineering, or systems engineering within high-rigor environments such as defense, aerospace, advanced robotics, or complex industrial systems. You must demonstrate detailed technical expertise in applying mechanical or systems engineering principles to complex hardware. Proficiency with professional CAD software and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools is essential, along with foundational understanding of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and military standards relevant to product support. You must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance and able to travel for on-site support and field deployments.
