Halter is an agritech company transforming pasture-based grazing through innovative cattle collars and software that enable virtual fencing and livestock monitoring. The company is backed by tier-1 investors including Founders Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners, and DCVC. As Product Specialist for Cattle in Brazil, you will be Halter's on-the-ground representative launching the product into South America. This is a pioneer role requiring hands-on field work alongside early adopters to understand how Halter's technology performs in the South American cattle production context. Key responsibilities include: - Deploying Halter with first-customer farms, providing direct technical and operational support - Building deep relationships with pioneering producers to understand their operations and needs - Translating field learnings into clear, actionable feedback for the product and engineering teams in New Zealand - Educating the company on South American cattle production practices, animal behavior, and regional nuances - Critically evaluating the product end-to-end and identifying gaps, improvements, and new features - Ensuring early customers achieve measurable results and maximize product value - Maintaining alignment with the commercial team as the market scales - Traveling nationally and internationally as needed, including flexible weekend work You will work closely with Halter's HQ in New Zealand and South American commercial teams to ensure the product delivers immediate, undeniable value and that development priorities reflect regional producer needs. Requirements: - Experience working in South American cattle production (must-have) - Passion for animals and the future of agriculture in the region - Tech-savvy with genuine curiosity about product mechanics - Strong communication skills; ability to translate field observations into clear feedback for remote teams - Critical thinking and proven ability to reach innovative conclusions - Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage market conditions - Fast learner with drive and resilience to overcome challenges - Get-stuff-done attitude and willingness to work flexibly, including weekends - Portuguese fluency (required); Spanish fluency (nice-to-have) - English proficiency required; interviews and significant day-to-day work conducted in English
