Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology, AI, autonomy, and computer vision. The Intelligence Systems division focuses on specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community customers.
As a Product Quality Engineer, you will define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high-quality, reliable compute solutions for complex defense programs. You will partner with engineering teams designing and building advanced systems, bringing technical expertise and leadership to set objectives, build processes, and drive projects to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engage with product development teams to achieve quality expectations and drive product development through process development, verification, validation, and qualification activities
- Drive clarity and resolution for development ambiguities related to product maturity, process stability, and field performance
- Champion the transition from new product introduction (NPI) to sustainable, high-rate manufacturing and supply chain
- Own elimination of product risk to improve reliability across the product lifecycle, from concept through development, manufacturing, and field use
- Ensure execution of product and process requirements; define and improve such requirements
- Work cross-functionally to define and execute the product roadmap
- Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities; review effectiveness and share lessons learned
- Lead product health data analysis and improvement activities; establish quality metrics and predictive factors
- Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
- Partner with production on incoming material inspection, process control plans, and end-of-line testing
- Support investigations and initiatives at team or organizational level
- Open to travel between CA headquarters and Ohio based on program needs
The role will be temporarily based in Santa Ana, CA for a 6-month training period before transitioning permanently to Asheville, OH.
