Rohlik is Central Europe's leading e-grocer, operating across five markets (Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Romania) with over a million customers. The company offers 17,000+ items delivered within 15-minute windows through web, mobile app, and Maia, a proprietary AI shopping assistant handling tens of thousands of daily conversations.
You will own a distinct segment of the customer journey—such as search & discovery, personalization, basket, slot choice, checkout, order tracking, substitutions, loyalty programs, or AI assistant integration—and drive measurable improvements week over week.
Key responsibilities include:
• Own business and customer metrics for your journey segment, making daily prioritization decisions that directly impact performance
• Conduct weekly customer research through interviews, home visits, customer care shadowing, and feedback analysis to inform product decisions
• Manage the backlog by translating product vision into problem statements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; make clear calls on what ships, waits, or gets cut
• Design and run A/B tests with clear hypotheses and pre-defined kill metrics; evaluate results independently and sunset underperforming features
• Query product analytics and data warehouse directly using SQL; report weekly performance metrics and isolate product impact from operational factors
• Prototype and iterate daily with a dedicated 3–5 person engineering cell, using AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) for rapid prototyping instead of static mockups
• Balance local operational requirements across five markets with a unified product vision; use data to justify build vs. no-build decisions
The role emphasizes high-velocity deployment (features ship to production multiple times daily behind feature flags), radical customer obsession, and an AI-first environment where product and engineering teams collaborate closely.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years owning a consumer product backlog on web or native apps as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with proven track record of shipping features with clear metrics
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience designing and interpreting A/B tests; ability to distinguish statistical significance from noise
• Hands-on experience with AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) to build prototypes; practical perspective on where LLMs add real value in retail shopping funnels
• Strong persuasion and communication skills to align engineers, design, commercial, and operations teams without formal reporting authority
• Fluent English required; conversational Czech, German, or Hungarian is a plus
• Experience in logistics-heavy businesses (online grocery, q-commerce, food delivery, logistics marketplaces) is a strong plus, including familiarity with substitution rates and slot fill metrics
