Paytm is seeking a Product Operations Manager for its Lending team to scale and optimize its Loan Management System (LMS) platform. You will work at the intersection of product, technology, and business operations, managing the end-to-end lending product lifecycle across personal loans, merchant loans, and Paytm Postpaid offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to analyze product flows, monitor disbursement funnels, and identify improvement opportunities in customer journeys and key metrics.
- Monitor all LMS servicing flows across multiple lenders using control and exception reports; identify failures and implement rapid fixes.
- Develop and streamline business processes to eliminate gaps and reduce failure rates.
- Lead cross-departmental collaboration between Business, Lender, Product, and Technology teams to troubleshoot API integration issues and technical roadblocks.
- Work with Customer Support and Merchant Help Desk teams to enhance customer experience and resolve issues quickly.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support decision-making by Business and Product Management teams.
- Establish and promote internal best practices across the organization.
- Understand different technology platforms and their capabilities; collaborate with solution architects and engineering leads to write detailed product requirement documents, manage roadmaps, and oversee deliverables.
- Influence multiple stakeholders, senior management, and cross-functional teams to drive faster decisions and clear technical obstacles.
You will operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment serving Paytm's 500+ million registered users and 17+ million merchants, contributing to India's largest digital lending ecosystem.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in Product Operations or Lending Operations roles.
- Hands-on experience in banking and financial processes.
- Deep understanding of Loan Management System (LMS) platforms.
- Knowledge of Fintech, BFSI, or Lending domain.
- Solutions-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent oral, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and senior management.
