Peregrine Technologies, backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, is an AI-enabled platform serving public safety organizations, state and local governments, federal agencies, and private-sector institutions. The platform transforms siloed data into operational intelligence, currently supporting hundreds of customers across 30+ states and two countries, serving over 125 million people. As the company's Product organization scales, this is the first dedicated Product Operations hire—a high-ownership, high-visibility role responsible for defining how the Product team operates. You'll partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Customer Delivery, Sales Enablement, and Training to build systems, metrics, and operational rhythms that enable faster execution with greater confidence. Key responsibilities include: **Metrics & Reporting**: Curate and maintain Peregrine's core product metrics library with definitions, owners, and calculation logic. Own data and dashboards for Monthly Business Reviews and quarterly/annual planning cycles. Validate metric correctness as features ship and work with engineers on instrumentation. Use tools including Amplitude, Datadog, and the company's own product. **Launch & Rollout Coordination**: Drive operational plans for betas and broader rollouts, tracking readiness across Training, Customer Advocacy, Sales Enablement, Data Science, Marketing, and Documentation. Maintain shared visibility of launch status, exit criteria, and early success signals. Run structured post-launch retrospectives and share findings with the PM team. **PM Team Enablement**: Maintain the PM team's operational rhythm including OKR tracking and roadmap tooling. Build and maintain playbooks so processes don't rely on tribal knowledge. Ensure feedback loops from early adopters and EAP participants are closed and documented. You'll own the operating model that enables every roadmap to be executed more effectively, rather than owning a product roadmap yourself. This role requires someone who enjoys bringing structure to ambiguity and loves solving operational problems.
