LettrLabs has built a platform that automates, tracks, and scales direct mail like digital advertising. As Product Marketing Manager, you'll own the company's positioning, messaging, and narrative across all customer touchpoints—from first impression through retention. This is a zero-to-one role where you'll build the product marketing function from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own LettrLabs' core positioning, messaging, and value propositions; keep them current as product and market evolve
- Build ICP and vertical-specific messaging frameworks across Home Services, E-commerce, Nonprofits, Real Estate, and B2B SaaS
- Lead product launches end-to-end in partnership with Product: planning, internal enablement, external rollout, and post-launch performance tracking
- Own messaging across all customer-facing touchpoints: website, sales collateral, lifecycle marketing, onboarding flows, and social
- Build the customer proof and case study program from narrative development through distribution across sales and marketing channels
- Develop scalable sales enablement assets (one-pagers, battle cards, objection guides, competitive comparisons) that sales teams actually use
- Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitive research to sharpen positioning and feed product direction
- Own product roadmap storytelling to support retention and expansion in partnership with Customer Success
- Lay the messaging and enablement foundation for emerging growth channels: paid acquisition, partnerships, affiliates, and referrals
Success Metrics:
- Sales uses your materials in active deals and closes faster because of them
- New customers activate and reach first value faster, measurably tied to improved onboarding and use-case clarity
- LettrLabs has a consistent, differentiated story that holds up from cold outreach through renewal
- Competitive positioning is documented, distributed, and reflected in how the team talks about the product
You'll work day-to-day with the CEO, Sales, and Product leadership. Direct mail is experiencing measurable resurgence as digital customer acquisition costs climb, and prospects are already curious about the channel.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in product marketing with ownership of positioning across multiple industries or customer segments (highest priority)
- Track record of building messaging and enablement assets that sales teams actually adopt
- Strong competitive positioning instincts; ability to make a product stand out in a crowded market
- Exceptional written communication: can write sharp one-liners, detailed battle cards, and executive narratives
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success; influence without authority
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and incomplete information in fast-moving environments
- Ability to translate complex, technical product capabilities into clear, buyer-focused business value
- Must be willing to work on-site regularly at Marina Del Rey office
Nice to Haves:
- Experience marketing to Home Services, E-commerce, or other high-volume SMB audiences
- Background repositioning legacy or offline-first categories through technology
- Experience in early-stage or fast-scaling B2B SaaS company
