Hyperexponential is an AI-powered insurance platform trusted by nearly 50 of the world's largest insurers. The company is backed by a16z, Highland Europe, and Battery Ventures, and operates at the intersection of data, AI, and human expertise to enable faster, smarter risk decisions across pricing and underwriting. As Product Marketing Manager for Calculation Engines and Portfolio Intelligence, you will own the strategic marketing for two core products serving actuaries and technical users. This is a hands-on role balancing adoption work for an established product with launch readiness for a new one. Key responsibilities: - Drive deeper engagement and adoption of Calculation Engines among existing users by analyzing usage data, identifying friction points, and creating targeted messaging and enablement that moves users forward. - Own end-to-end go-to-market execution for the Portfolio Intelligence product launch, including positioning, launch materials, enablement, and user communications. - Accelerate early adoption of Portfolio Intelligence through onboarding support and launch assets that help users reach first value quickly and transition from beta to sustained use. - Champion the developer community by writing technical content at regular cadence for use in sales conversations, and directly answering architecture and integration questions. - Build hx's position in actuarial AI by developing differentiated positioning and competitive understanding that works across website copy, enablement, and customer conversations. - Establish strong feedback loops between users, Product, Revenue, and the AI team, ensuring insights from launches and field conversations directly inform messaging and product direction. The marketing function at hx operates at the intersection of demand generation and systems thinking in a highly technical, niche market. This is strategic B2B marketing for a known universe of accounts, with involvement from first engagement through customer success. You'll work closely with Solutions Engineers, Product, and Engineering teams, earning trust through technical credibility and judgment rather than formal authority. The team experiments constantly, uses AI strategically to focus on high-impact work, and maintains a high bar for quality and pace. You'll join a group that takes work seriously but not themselves, where compressed learning is the norm. REQUIREMENTS: - Led product marketing in a B2B SaaS environment, balancing adoption work for an existing product with launch readiness for a new one simultaneously, demonstrating commercial judgment across multiple go-to-market motions. - Increased engagement or adoption of a mature product by using user insight to sharpen messaging or enablement, with measurable improvement in usage, understanding, or qualitative feedback from users and revenue teams. - Owned a product launch end to end, including internal readiness and enablement work before launch, not just the moment it ships. - Turned complex technical capabilities into credible, differentiated messaging for skeptical, technical audiences (developers or equivalent evaluators), built on real user insight rather than generic claims. - Worked hands-on alongside Solutions Engineers or equivalent technical partners, comfortable being challenged on technical detail and earning trust across Product, Engineering, and Revenue without relying on formal authority. - Used AI with real judgment about technical accuracy versus plausibility, and applied that judgment to rebuild systems like enablement, competitive intelligence, or win/loss analysis. You're unlikely to thrive here if you expect full product maturity and well-defined processes before taking action, focus primarily on flashy launch work over adoption and engagement detail, or struggle to prioritize and make trade-offs without perfect information.
