Supabase is a Postgres development platform serving 10+ million developers with integrated backend services including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. This role owns a focused portfolio of strategic partner integrations—not the platform broadly, but a small number of critical partnerships where you are accountable for integration quality, developer experience, and continuous improvement.
You will live close to developers using these integrations, constantly identifying where they break down in real use and translating that signal into your roadmap. You'll decide the right integration model for each partner: what Supabase owns, what the partner owns, what you build jointly, and what remains open and partner-agnostic. You'll work hands-on with each partner's product and engineering teams to ship high-quality integrations, holding your own in architecture reviews and code-level design discussions.
Key responsibilities include setting the quality bar for great integrations and building mechanisms (documentation, tooling, guardrails, versioning) that scale adoption. You'll define success metrics for each integration—adoption by developers, integration quality, reliability in production—and use those signals to decide depth and direction.
You should have 7+ years of product management on developer tools or be an ex-founder with strong product instincts and technical depth. You must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area. You've shipped integration or platform surfaces that other companies build against (APIs, auth flows, developer-facing surfaces), and you can reason at the product level about how independent systems authenticate and exchange data. Familiarity with workers, agent sandboxes, developer tooling, or machine-to-machine authentication is a bonus.
You're biased toward speed, shipping imperfect-but-secure solutions while learning. You build with what you own, forming opinions through first-hand use. You're comfortable using AI tools to compress research and synthesis work. You work async by default, making decisions in writing and moving work forward without meetings.
