Lab37 Robotics is a technology company developing and deploying robots for direct-to-customer food production. The company is revolutionizing the food industry through innovative robotic solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will own the product definition, strategy, and roadmap for KitchenOS—a suite of tools supporting R&D teams, brand managers, and kitchen operators across recipe development, menu building, production, and inventory workflows. You will translate operator insights and operational data into clear priorities and requirements, leading the full product lifecycle from discovery through QA, rollout, and iteration while coordinating delivery across the KitchenOS roadmap.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the operator-facing product roadmap by defining and prioritizing KitchenOS tools using field research, operational data, and business impact analysis
- Building workflows that make brand and menu launches seamless, keeping customer orders aligned with kitchen preparation
- Simplifying daily kitchen operations by turning complex prep, receiving, and inventory processes into intuitive workflows
- Partnering with engineering and data science to translate forecasts, recommendations, and operational signals into actionable tools
- Making recipes, instructions, and quality checks accessible at the point of work to enable quick adoption and reliable execution
- Coordinating milestones and dependencies across product, engineering, data science, and operations teams
- Owning delivery and rollout, including requirements writing, real-kitchen testing, QA, field pilots, documentation, training, and iteration
- Driving cross-functional alignment around measurable outcomes using adoption, operator effectiveness, launch speed, and execution quality as guides
You will work in a collaborative environment with experienced colleagues, spending time in kitchens observing real workflows and translating operator feedback into product decisions. The role requires optimizing for user effectiveness, workflow reliability, and seamless launches.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–8 years of total experience, including 4+ years as a product manager owning B2B or operational products end to end
- Experience building tools for frontline teams (kitchen, warehouse, field, or retail floor) and taking them from discovery through launch
- Extreme curiosity about revolutionizing food production and how software, automation, and better workflows can transform what's possible
- AI-powered prototyping as second nature: ability to rapidly build prototypes and MVPs with AI tools to test concepts with real users and challenge assumptions
- Track record of turning ambiguity into shipped products by translating complex operational problems into intuitive solutions with measurable results
- Strong systems thinking to understand how changes to recipes, menus, inventory, and production ripple through connected operations
- Hands-on, field-oriented approach comfortable spending time in kitchens and observing real workflows
- Interest in learning and development, viewing onboarding, training, and in-workflow guidance as part of the product experience
- Crisp written and verbal communication skills to write clear requirements, explain trade-offs, and align culinary, operations, engineering, and data science teams
- Food, restaurant tech, logistics, or manufacturing experience is a plus
