Echodyne is seeking a Product Manager to own the roadmap for its radar accessory ecosystem, including deployment kits, mounting solutions, power systems, cables, junction boxes, tripods, and future accessories that simplify customer integration and deployment of solid-state beam-steering radar systems.
The role combines customer advocacy with cross-functional product leadership. You will engage directly with customers, integrators, and partners to understand deployment challenges and identify new accessory opportunities. You'll translate operational needs into clear product requirements and business cases, then prioritize investments based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and cost.
Key responsibilities include owning product strategy and lifecycle management for the accessory portfolio; partnering with engineering to develop technical requirements while balancing cost, usability, manufacturability, and quality; collaborating with external design, manufacturing, and technology partners throughout development and launch; working with Program Management on schedules and dependencies; supporting Supply Chain and Supplier Management on sourcing and transitions; developing pricing and go-to-market recommendations with Marketing and Sales; and continuously monitoring customer feedback and market trends.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or technical discipline (or equivalent); 3+ years of product management or related experience with technical hardware products; demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments; ability to translate customer problems into clear requirements and prioritized roadmaps; experience with external suppliers, OEM partners, or contract manufacturers; ability to balance competing priorities; strong communication skills; and experience bringing products from concept through launch.
Desired experience includes work with ruggedized hardware, sensors, or industrial equipment; mechanical or electromechanical products such as enclosures or mounting systems; familiarity with defense, aerospace, public safety, or industrial markets; and experience with contract manufacturers and supplier ecosystems.
