ubitricity is a leading provider of public EV charging infrastructure operating across the UK, Germany, France, and the Netherlands. The company partners with municipalities to install and operate charging solutions for electric vehicles in public spaces, including lamppost chargers, AC fast-charging points, and DC rapid-charging stations.
As a Product Manager for Ecosystem Solutions, you will shape the future of e-mobility by ensuring that charging electric vehicles is simple, reliable, and accessible for customers. You will own the development of ecosystem services and integrations, managing the complete charging experience from cable connection through payment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve core components, services, and integrations of the charging ecosystem, ensuring measurable value for drivers and the business
- Own the budget for development and design initiatives within your product area
- Manage API and system integrations with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to create seamless customer journeys
- Collaborate closely with software, hardware, operations, and commercial teams to deliver a best-in-class charging experience
- Proactively identify customer needs, operational challenges, and market opportunities, translating them into product improvements and initiatives
- Prioritize requirements based on customer value, business impact, and strategic relevance across multiple stakeholders
- Translate customer, business, and technical requirements into clear user stories and actionable product specifications
- Support iterative product development and pilot projects; enable local markets through appropriate tools, documentation, and processes
- Work closely with engineers to refine requirements, make decisions, and find pragmatic solutions
- Own quality in your product area and continuously optimize how products are developed, delivered, and operated
- Facilitate Scrum processes within development teams and coordinate work packages with internal stakeholders
- Develop and validate new UI/UX concepts directly in applications using modern AI tools like GitHub Copilot before technical implementation
You will work in a hybrid model (3 days office, 2 days remote in Berlin) with up to 4 weeks remote work per year from abroad. The role offers short decision-making cycles, rapid execution, and collaboration with teams in Berlin, London, and Amsterdam within an agile environment backed by a leading global energy company.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or comparable role, ideally in e-mobility, energy, IoT, or hardware-software ecosystems
- Technical understanding beyond reporting and spreadsheet tools; comfortable working with APIs, dashboards, and low-code/no-code platforms without writing production code
- Proficiency with AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot in daily work
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
- Customer-centric mindset with strong commercial acumen; ability to make product decisions from user and business perspectives
- Analytical, data-driven approach combined with high quality and UX standards
- Proven track record of identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and independently driving projects from concept to execution
- Comfort with complex service and platform environments involving many internal and external stakeholders
- Pragmatic, collaborative, and adaptable personality
- English language proficiency at C1 level; German language skills are advantageous
