Jerry is a fintech platform that simplifies car and home ownership by consolidating insurance, repairs, financing, and maintenance into a single app. Founded in 2019, the company has grown to 5M+ customers, raised $240M+, and achieved profitability in early 2024. The company operates a marketplace connecting customers with 100+ insurance carriers, with 60% of policies sold automatically and 90% of inquiries resolved via AI. The Growth team owns the entire customer sign-up and purchase funnel for Jerry's core car insurance marketplace. As a Product Manager on this team, you will report directly to the VP of Growth with visibility to the C-suite and will work alongside two other PMs on a high-impact, fast-moving team. In your first phase, you will develop a deep understanding of how the funnel performs through structured product walkthroughs, user journey mapping, and friction point identification. You'll synthesize customer feedback from reviews, support tickets, and research into actionable insights, and drive bug triage and resolution with engineering. As you build context, you'll lead end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, starting with well-scoped launches like landing pages and compliance-driven features. You'll contribute to A/B testing and experiment design, partner with Design and Engineering to ship balanced experiences, and translate ambiguous customer problems into clear hypotheses and requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work with incomplete information, meticulous follow-through, genuine curiosity about customer psychology, and excellent cross-functional communication. You'll need 2+ years in management consulting, product management, or product/business operations, plus the ability to maintain 3-4 hours of daily overlap with China business hours for engineering coordination. The company operates on weekly sprints with a fast-shipping culture—products that take 6-12 months elsewhere launch in 1-2 months here.
