Jerry.ai is a profitable, Series C, YC-backed startup with 5M+ customers and $240M in funding. The company is building an AI-powered advisor to manage physical assets, starting with car insurance (a $300B US market) and expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, and boat insurance. Currently, 60% of policies are sold automatically without human intervention, and 90% of customer inquiries are resolved via AI. The Growth team owns the entire customer sign-up and purchase funnel for the car insurance marketplace, driving how millions discover and become Jerry customers. As the company scales from 5M to 50M customers by 2030, the product is becoming increasingly complex with new insurance carriers and asset classes. In Phase 1 (first few months), you will learn product management fundamentals and develop deep understanding of funnel performance. You'll conduct structured product walkthroughs to map user journeys, identify friction points, synthesize user feedback from reviews and support tickets, and drive bug triage with engineering. In Phase 2, you'll lead end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, starting with well-scoped launches like landing pages and compliance features, then expanding scope. You'll contribute to A/B testing and experiment design, partner with Design and Engineering to ship balanced experiences, and translate customer problems into clear hypotheses and requirements. You'll report directly to the VP of Growth with visibility to the c-suite. The Growth team has 3 Product Managers total with significant surface area, requiring scrappiness but offering substantial ownership. The company runs weekly sprints and ships products in 1-2 months that take 6-12 months elsewhere. Key constraint: Engineering is partly overseas, requiring 3-4 hours of daily overlap with their business hours. This is non-negotiable. Required: 3+ years product management experience (ideally consumer-facing), strong analytical skills, track record owning ambiguous problems, excellent written/verbal communication, willingness to maintain global business hours overlap.
