Jerry.ai is a profitable, Series C, YC-backed fintech startup with 5M+ customers and $240M in funding. The company is building an AI-powered advisor to manage physical assets, starting with car insurance (a $300B market in the U.S.) and expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, and other verticals. The company has achieved significant operational scale: 60% of policies are sold automatically without human intervention, and 90% of inbound customer inquiries are resolved via AI and automation.
The Growth team owns the entire customer sign-up and purchase funnel for the car insurance marketplace. As Product Manager, Growth, you will take end-to-end ownership of high-impact funnels that directly move the needle on the company's north star goal of growing from 5M to 50M customers by 2030. This is not a growth-hacking role focused on revenue at the expense of customer experience; instead, you'll build a durable growth engine by creating magical customer experiences and providing unreasonable hospitality.
You will investigate and understand customer needs across different personas, navigate complex backend systems, and translate that complexity into clear, trustworthy, and elegant user experiences. Specific areas of ownership may include: landing pages, signup funnels, and app download pages (simplifying complex insurance shopping flows and personalizing by user persona); quote shopping (improving display of complex information, integrating different insurance carriers into simple UX, balancing customer and partner needs); and integrating adjacent products (roadside assistance, home insurance, property tax appeals, motorcycle insurance) into the car insurance funnel.
You will report directly to the VP of Growth with visibility to the c-suite and have direct exposure to product strategy, business model tradeoffs, and roadmap decisions from Day One. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing, and Leadership, including the CEO. The Growth team is small (3 Product Managers total) with huge surface area, requiring scrappiness but offering significant scope and ownership. The company runs weekly sprints and ships products in 1-2 months that take 6-12 months elsewhere—a fast-paced, demanding environment with rapid learning cycles.
The engineering team is partly based overseas, so occasional overlap with their business hours may be required. The company is remote-first but also maintains offices in Palo Alto, New York City, Chicago, and Toronto.
