Enpal is building an integrated platform for decentralized energy solutions—solar systems, battery storage, wall boxes, smart meters, and heat pumps. The company's AI-powered platform Enpal.One intelligently connects thousands of systems and optimizes electricity procurement and feed-in on the energy market.
Mestrify is Enpal's smart metering unit and digital infrastructure for a smart energy ecosystem. With tens of thousands of iMSys units installed, the team is making energy measurable, controllable, and economically viable.
You will join the Metrify Smart Metering team as a Product Manager with end-to-end ownership of core internal data products, including the Customer Data Model and billing & pricing engine. This is a platform product role where your users are internal teams and other systems, and success is measured by data integrity, consistency, and downstream reliability.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the Customer Data Model, including identity hierarchy design (customer → order → metering point → measurement), data consistency, and governance across systems.
- Drive the roadmap for the billing and pricing engine, translating regulatory requirements (e.g., MaKo, EDIFACT) and commercial pricing logic into reliable, scalable calculation and invoicing capabilities.
- Translate operational and regulatory requirements into clear PRDs, data models, and actionable user stories for Engineering.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Customer Care to ensure the data foundation supports accurate billing, reporting, and downstream product use cases.
- Define and track success metrics focused on data quality, billing accuracy, system reliability, and reduction of manual/operational workarounds.
- Continuously gather feedback from internal teams to identify gaps in the data model and pricing logic, and prioritize fixes and enhancements.

Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of product management experience in B2B or infrastructure products with focus on internal users.
- Experience navigating complex domains involving regulation, systems integration, and working directly with internal stakeholders to drive roadmap.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially Engineering and Growth.
- Familiarity with API design and integrations; experience in energy markets, smart metering, or regulatory processes is a plus.
- Clear English communication; German language knowledge is a plus.
- Agile mindset with ownership of identifying problems, defining what needs to be built, and shaping solutions as they evolve.
