As Product Manager for Contractor Management, you'll own a vertical within Remote's product suite, driving strategy and execution end-to-end. You'll report to the Group Product Manager and work autonomously on complex product challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the full contractor management experience, from software to service delivery
- Leading complex solutions with minimal escalation to senior product leadership
- Building and communicating a clear roadmap and strategy for your product area
- Breaking down strategic plans into near and mid-term goals aligned with company objectives
- Shipping improvements iteratively while maintaining high ROI
- Managing internal expectations and navigating prioritization trade-offs
- Collaborating with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to solve complex problems
- Becoming the subject matter expert for your product area
- Contributing to scaling and growth plans
- Working asynchronously and transparently across the organization
You'll need prior PM experience at a high-growth company, with demonstrated ability to move products in the right direction. A critical requirement is proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional prototypes and code changes—not just write specs. You should have strong judgment on both strategic prioritization and tactical feature scope decisions, excellent communication skills across departments, and fluency in English. Remote work experience is a bonus.
