Plaid is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its Connectivity Platform team. The Connectivity team owns how Plaid connects to the financial system, bringing banks, credit unions, and data partners onto the Plaid network and building integrations that power all Plaid products. The team is leveraging AI to build integrations with minimal human intervention and enable self-healing capabilities, expanding reach beyond traditional banks and enabling new use cases around data access and account actions. In this role, you will own the platform capabilities that keep Plaid's data supply reliable and efficient, deciding which capabilities to build as the network evolves. You will drive discovery to identify, validate, and prioritize platform updates and new services, considering product team roadmaps, reliability challenges, and data quality. You will define and own the Connectivity platform roadmap and strategy in partnership with the engineering lead, covering the integration automation platform, migration orchestration platform, and data quality initiatives. Future work includes building shared observability across US, Canada, and UK/EU regions. You will partner closely with engineering to identify and articulate technical trade-offs against business value, spending deep time with internal teams that depend on the platform to understand their needs. You will establish and track key metrics to measure platform health and impact. This is a role for someone with rare technical depth who enjoys building things that don't exist yet and can operate as a true peer to world-class engineers. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of product management experience - Proven track record as an internal product manager, leading technical product initiatives where the user base is internal (engineers, product teams) from discovery through roadmap/strategy development to execution and monitoring; ability to speak concretely about what made initiatives succeed or fail (adoption, metrics, iteration) - Deep technical fluency: can hold your own with top engineers on large systems design, evaluating trade-offs, limitations, and business value; intimate familiarity with APIs, reading architectures, and developing technical prototypes with AI assistants - Leadership, stakeholder influence, and communication: comfortable working cross-functionally (engineering, data, product) and influencing without direct authority; ability to explain complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders, drive alignment, and make trade-offs clear with concise written and verbal communication NICE TO HAVE: - Experience in fintech - Generative AI knowledge and experience - Prior software engineering experience
