Stedi is building the first new healthcare clearinghouse in decades, modernizing how healthcare payers and providers exchange mission-critical transactions using standardized EDI formats (X12 HIPAA). The company offers a programmable, API-first clearinghouse that replaces legacy systems built on outdated technology. As a Product Manager, you will own one of Stedi's core products end-to-end, responsible for the complete product lifecycle from requirements gathering through launch and optimization. You'll report directly to the Head of Product and Engineering, work closely with the CEO on product direction, and serve as the primary author of technical product documents including PRDs, FAQs, and GitHub tickets.
Key responsibilities include: owning the product roadmap for substantial portions of the clearinghouse offering; translating complex customer needs into actionable product direction; working with design and engineering teams to prioritize and deliver features; measuring product performance and tracking adoption metrics; and supporting broader product initiatives across Stedi's suite.
You'll work in a fast-shipping environment where the team delivers updates continuously (see their public changelog). The role requires deep collaboration with healthcare customers to gather feedback, strong technical communication skills to work with engineers, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity while maintaining a relentless focus on product quality and adoption.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years of product management experience with a track record of delivering successfully adopted B2B products (API-delivered products are a major plus), and ideally 2+ years working in healthcare revenue cycle management, particularly eligibility verification workflows. A technical background (CS degree or professional coding experience) is strongly preferred. You should be highly curious, comfortable with complexity, and driven to ship early and often.
