Port is building an open and flexible Agentic Engineering Platform for modern engineering organizations. Following a $100M Series C funding round, the company is in rapid hypergrowth with strong enterprise momentum. Port acts as the central nervous system for engineering teams, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and expose it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents.
As a Product Manager, you will own a pillar (product domain) end-to-end alongside a team of engineers and designers. You'll build and evolve it as a standalone value stream while maintaining connection to the broader platform. This is a full-picture ownership role where you shape the story of your pillar from market positioning to technical enablement, defining success by measurable impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define what to build and why by going deep with customers, analyzing usage data, and researching the competitive landscape. Bring this perspective to your team and communicate reasoning to engineering, leadership, and the market.
- Shape experiences that engineers choose to use across Port's entire developer experience ecosystem (UI, API, CLI, chat, and coding interfaces). Work closely with design and engineering to make each surface deliberate from wireframe through launch.
- Drive cross-functional impact across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success throughout the full product cycle. You are accountable for picking the right problem, ensuring the solution is built correctly, and validating that the launch lands.
- Build for both agents and developers. Shape your domain so agents can act on it reliably and developers can navigate it intuitively. Understand tradeoffs in how data, APIs, and interfaces serve both audiences.
- Measure what matters by defining success metrics before shipping, tracking adoption, analyzing results, and iterating until outcomes are real.
