As a Product Manager at Paga, you will own the success of specific products and/or features delivered to external and internal customers. You will drive both strategic and tactical decision-making for your product portfolio, oversee development of new products and features, curate and grow existing offerings, and delight customers across the organization.
Paga operates a distributed product development team across Lagos (Nigeria), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), and Mexico City, requiring strong remote collaboration and self-management skills. You should expect occasional travel (approximately twice yearly) to office locations for training, team events, user engagement, and market-empathy development.
Key responsibilities include executing product-development activities (ideation, specification, design, development feedback, post-deployment curation), engaging with end-users and marketing teams to refine product vision, continuously improving existing offerings through qualitative and quantitative analysis, and working effectively with industry and ecosystem partners.
To succeed in this role, you must have strong customer and market empathy to drive consumer-centric design, excellent critical thinking skills to translate user needs into meaningful products across diverse use cases, ability to multitask and prioritize competing objectives, comfort with rapid change and ownership mentality in high-pressure environments, and strong collaboration skills across cross-functional product development teams. Communication and collaboration are essential—you will utilize remote tools extensively and apply clear practices to engage with customers, teammates, and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of product management or similar product development experience
- Experience with Agile product development methodology
- Bachelor's degree
