Iterable is an AI customer engagement platform trusted by global brands like Redfin, SeatGeek, Priceline, Calm, and Box. The company serves nearly 1,200 brands across 50+ countries and is recognized as a Leader by G2 and a Challenger by Gartner in the Multichannel Marketing space.
As Product Manager for External AI Tools, you will define how Nova (Iterable's AI layer) integrates with and appears in external AI tools and platforms. You will work directly with a dedicated engineering team based in Lisbon to build connectors, protocols, and user experiences that enable marketers to access Nova's capabilities from their preferred AI environments—whether ChatGPT, Claude, in-house agents, or CLIs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prioritize which external tools and surfaces to build for, and define how Nova's capabilities are exposed to external AI systems
- Own the development of MCP Apps and tool-specific capabilities, including connectors, protocols, and packaging
- Partner with design to deliver the best user experience within each third-party tool
- Work closely with your engineering team and the Agent Platform team to launch impactful projects and define the architecture for your surfaces
- Research industry trends across the agentic ecosystem to identify new surfaces and opportunities
- Engage regularly with customers through user testing, discovery, research, and roadmap sharing to understand how they work within their own AI tools
- Create adoption plans and measure ongoing engagement with shipped surfaces
You will report to the Senior Director of Product, Nova, and work with a distributed team across time zones.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working on a SaaS product (B2B or B2B2C)
- Deep customer empathy and ability to understand user needs
- Hands-on experience building AI products, especially for enterprise customers
- Technical understanding of agent architectures, APIs, and protocols (e.g., MCP), with ability to partner deeply with engineering on connectors, authentication, and integration work
- Sound product judgment on when to standardize versus diverge across surfaces and personas
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and translate stakeholder needs into product architecture
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data, research, and market analysis to inform product decisions and strategy
- Experience working with agile engineering teams and tools like Jira
- Collaborative team player comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones
- Bonus: passion for MarTech and helping marketers succeed
