Great Question is an AI-powered customer research platform that helps teams recruit participants, run research, and share insights in one place. The platform is trusted by leading companies like Gusto, Experian, Canva, and Brex.
You will own a strategic area of the product with a team of 3–4 engineers, reporting to the Head of Product. This is an individual contributor role focused on moving a clear outcome. You'll work alongside two other strong PMs and a product designer in a remote, North America-based team with Pacific-hours overlap.
Example problem domain: Research workflows are multi-step chains (recruiting, scheduling, running sessions, synthesis). The goal is to make this chain simple and reliable enough that builders or AI agents can run it end-to-end flexibly.
In your first three months, you'll take ownership of a strategic area, ship meaningful work with your team, and validate whether it moved the needle.
Key responsibilities:
- Find the bet: Analyze product data and customer signals (support chats, sales asks, research) to form strong hypotheses about what will move your outcome.
- Shape it: Scope problems carefully or prototype rapidly; decide what happens now, later, or never.
- Ship it well: Keep the team organized and motivated while staying close to details to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Release it: Run launches and ensure Sales, Success, and Marketing are prepared.
- Learn from it: Measure results and decide whether to double down, iterate, or stop.
The role emphasizes moving between strategy and execution, owning results, and avoiding backlog management or process overhead. You'll work in a small, senior team with a customer-obsessed culture, remote-first operations, and async communication.
The company culture emphasizes high trust, high agency, and high emotional intelligence. Everyone is encouraged to leverage AI tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.) to be more efficient and push boundaries.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years as a product manager in B2B software
- Comfortable with product analytics and database queries; form strong opinions and change them based on evidence
- Stay in the details and ship complex work on time without lowering the bar
- Use AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor daily; have shipped AI features in production (MCP servers, agentic workflows)
- Bought in on AI: excited about it, try new tools constantly, understand where AI helps vs. adds noise
- Technical enough to be dangerous: use AI to ship small fixes or prototype in code
- Close to customers: talk to them regularly and it shows in decisions
- Clear and decisive communicator; make calls and commit
- High agency: see what needs doing and do it without being asked; push through hard parts and finish without quality slip
BONUS:
- Experience with B2B workflow products, especially multi-step flows with complex state and status
- Hands-on work with agent runtimes or measuring AI output quality
- Remote, async team experience
