AlertMedia is a high-growth, PE-backed SaaS company offering a Risk Intelligence and Response platform trusted by over 4,000 clients globally. The platform helps organizations detect emerging threats, assess impact, and respond with confidence by unifying critical information and workflows.
As a Product Manager, you will own the vision and day-to-day execution for new AI capabilities within the platform. You'll work across cross-functional teams—Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and Support—to move products from concept through launch and measurement.
Key responsibilities include:
**Customer and Market Understanding:** Develop deep expertise in your personas (security, safety, business continuity, IT, and operations leaders). Conduct continuous customer interviews, discovery conversations, and workflow walkthroughs to extract specific problem statements. Maintain a clear view of current capabilities, near-term opportunities, and 12–24 month strategic problems. Track industry trends, automation and AI landscape shifts, platform changes, and competitive dynamics.
**Strategy, Prioritization, and Roadmap Ownership:** Own the roadmap for new AI capabilities—deciding what to build, defer, and decline with clear reasoning. Shape product strategy and positioning for products still being defined. Balance business objectives, customer needs, and industry trends when sequencing work, making tradeoffs explicit to stakeholders. Define problem sets and jobs-to-be-done that anchor each initiative.
**Working With Development and Design:** Partner with Engineering and Design to translate customer problems into specifications, acceptance criteria, and deliverable milestones. Break large initiatives into releasable increments that deliver early customer value. Stay close through delivery—grooming, scope decisions, testing, and launch readiness—resolving ambiguity before it becomes rework.
**Prototyping With AI Tooling:** Use AI development and design tools (Claude Code, Claude Design, Codex) to build working prototypes, pressure-test concepts, and put tangible ideas in front of customers in days rather than quarters. Treat prototypes as a research method to invalidate weak ideas inexpensively and sharpen strong ones before Engineering commits. Bring that fluency to the wider product team.
**Measurement:** Define success metrics before launch (adoption, time saved, workflow completion, reliability, retention impact, revenue contribution) and instrument for them. Analyze product usage data and customer outcomes post-release, report honestly on results, and feed findings into the next prioritization cycle.
**Go-To-Market Enablement:** Work with Product Marketing to position new capabilities, shape messaging, and equip Sales, Customer Success, and Support. Translate product functionality into narratives and practical applications for customer-facing teams. Lead internal training, demos, and Q&A sessions.
**Requirements:**
- 3+ years of product management experience in B2B enterprise software, including owning a product or major product area end-to-end (discovery, delivery, measurement)
- Experience leading an established or emerging product or major capability, iterating and evolving it to fit changing market needs
- Prior experience working on agentic and/or AI-native products (workflow automation, interactive assistants, integration platforms, agentic tooling, or similar)
- A working understanding of AI/ML capabilities, limitations, and product implications
- Demonstrated ability to move smoothly between cross-functional teams, inspiring and leading without formal authority
- Strong communication skills; ability to translate between technical and business contexts
- Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to iterate based on evidence
- Customer obsession and willingness to spend significant time with users
