Salary: CAD 107,100 - 144,900 / annual
Vena Solutions is seeking a Product Manager to join its AI Product Team. Vena is an agentic AI-powered FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) platform built on the Microsoft technology ecosystem. Following the launch of Vena Copilot in May 2024, the company is establishing leadership in AI innovation for finance, helping organizations transform their Office of Finance through AI adoption.
In this role, you will work closely with software engineers, designers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to build and enhance AI-powered features for finance professionals. You will help scale Vena Copilot's foundation and develop a robust taskforce of FP&A agents that improve day-to-day productivity for finance teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and own a comprehensive product strategy and multi-year roadmap for the AI portfolio, aligned with corporate strategy and customer outcomes
- Establish shared vision across stakeholders and align product roadmap with business strategies
- Write requirements for your scrum team and manage the software development lifecycle
- Assess opportunities and develop prototypes to determine optimal solutions from UX and business perspectives
- Serve as liaison between the user community (customers, internal consultants, support) and engineering teams
- Apply Design Thinking to develop hypotheses and validate solutions with users
- Collaborate with developers, PMs, and stakeholders to identify, assess, build, and release new software
- Leverage data and analytics tools to measure feature effectiveness and define next steps
The position offers flexibility: work full-time from the Toronto office, hybrid throughout the week, or entirely remote within Canada.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a product or customer-facing role with hands-on technical experience (Professional Services, Sales Engineering, or Product Support)
- Experience building and launching an AI product is strongly preferred
- Experience in CPM, FP&A, or Fintech space is a plus
- Excellent communication skills; collaborative, diligent, and open working style
- Curious and passionate about customers and solving their problems
- Technically savvy with desire to understand how products are built
- Familiarity with quantitative research methods and data pattern recognition
- Familiarity with Agile software development; SaaS experience is a plus
