Paytm Insurance Broking Private Limited (PIBPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Paytm (One97 Communications), is seeking a Product Manager to own strategy and execution for a meaningful product area within their online insurance marketplace. The role serves over 450 million consumers and 45 million merchants across payments, financial services, and commerce.
You will own end-to-end strategy and execution for your product area—from identifying the right problem to shipping and iterating. You'll spend real time understanding users through direct research (not just reading decks), translate insights into crisp product bets, and partner closely with design, engineering, and business teams to ship solutions. You'll be measured on outcomes rather than output and expected to drive your area with minimal hand-holding.
The insurance marketplace offers products across auto, life, and health insurance, with policy management and claim services. You'll work at the cutting edge of tech and finance, building for one of the largest and most diverse consumer bases in the world, shipping at scale and pace. The problems are hard, impact is immediate, and autonomy is real.
The team is headquartered in Noida and operates in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where speed and judgment both matter. You'll benefit from a collaborative, output-driven program that brings cohesiveness across businesses through technology, opportunities to improve average revenue per user through cross-sell, and 360 feedback from peer teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6–8 years of experience, ideally in entrepreneurship, building consumer products, or top-tier consulting
- Strong consumer intuition with opinions about why products work, defendable with both logic and evidence
- High agency: ability to define problems, find paths, and execute without waiting for permission
- Sharp analytical and structured thinking, balanced with bias for action
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-ownership environments where speed and judgment matter
