Multiplier Holdings is a VC-backed startup that acquires and scales high-impact professional services firms through AI and automation, operating in high-stakes verticals like tax and corporate accounting. The company integrates technology and service delivery under one roof, building in-house AI and workflow components configured to fit the needs of each acquired firm.
You will join the Corporate Accounting Pod as a Product Engineer, taking ownership end-to-end from understanding real accountant workflows to designing solutions and shipping code to production. This is a hands-on, 0→1 builder role where you'll work directly with accountants, client managers, and firm owners to transform how they work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and deploy features end-to-end from conception through iteration
- Translate real-world corporate accounting workflows into elegant, scalable software systems
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and accounting firms to rapidly explore, prototype, and iterate
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code with attention to scalability and performance
- Work directly with accountants to understand pain points, prototype solutions, and iterate based on real feedback
- Contribute to architecture decisions, best practices, and technical direction as the foundation scales
Examples of projects include: practice management tools (CRM, work management, documents, billing), document extraction, bookkeeping automations, month-end and year-end workflows, R&D tax credit automations, and integrations with Xero, Karbon, and Microsoft Graph.
You'll work across Europe, UK, and Asia time zones collaborating with firms and internal teams. The role offers a flexible hybrid arrangement (ideally in-person a couple times per week) with unlimited paid leave, comprehensive medical/vision/dental insurance, and opportunity to grow into technical leadership within the pod structure.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of ownership across the full product lifecycle
- Proven 0→1 builder: experience building products from scratch, thriving in ambiguity and greenfield work
- Strong foundation in modern full-stack development: Typescript, Node.js, React, Postgres
- Experience in B2B or Fintech environments, particularly in information- or compliance-heavy domains
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, working independently, and iterating quickly in startup environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with pragmatic problem-solving approach
- Passionate about building user-facing products and working closely with real users
- Must be based in or eligible to work in Singapore (relocation support not available)
