incident.io is the leading AI incident response platform trusted by engineering teams at companies like OpenAI, Netflix, and Airbnb. Since 2021, the company has helped over 2,000 organizations manage more than 1 million incidents. Series B funded with $96M from Index Ventures, Insight Partners, and Point Nine, incident.io is growing rapidly. As a Product Engineer, you'll own the complete product lifecycle end-to-end: from customer conversations and feedback to design, implementation, testing, delivery, and follow-up. You'll spend significant time in the codebase (Go, TypeScript, React) while also engaging directly with customers to understand their needs. The role emphasizes product thinking alongside technical execution—you'll have real opinions about what should be built and why. The team operates with a flat structure where everyone is a builder. You'll work alongside founders, former CTOs, and engineers at various career stages. The company embraces AI tooling as standard kit (Claude Code, Cursor, Wispr) and builds with AI, not around it. You're someone who spots problems before customers notice them, operates with "if not me, then who" ownership, and thrives in ambiguity. You share work at 70% completion to get early feedback rather than polishing in isolation. You communicate clearly across Slack, design docs, and technical discussions, and you adapt quickly when feedback shifts priorities. The company prioritizes work-life balance with benefits including private medical insurance, competitive annual leave, first Friday of each month off, enhanced pension, meaningful equity, unlimited AI spend, generous parental leave, and setup/professional development budgets.
