Conversion is an agentic marketing automation platform serving modern enterprises like Plaid, ClickHouse, Webflow, and Productboard. The platform enables growth teams to run their entire go-to-market motion in one place—from acquisition through retention—using AI agents to automate work that legacy tools like Marketo, HubSpot, and Pardot cannot handle.
The company has raised $28M+ from Abstract Ventures, True Ventures, and HOF Capital. The San Francisco-based team includes engineers, designers, and operators from Airbnb, Palantir, Pinterest, IMC, Shopify, LinkedIn, and Microsoft.
As a Product Engineer, you will own entire product features end to end, from scoping and design through shipping. This is a role for engineers who think like product managers—understanding customer pain points deeply and evaluating both the benefit and cost of building solutions. You'll work directly with customers (each has a dedicated Slack channel in the org), answering questions, fixing bugs, and shipping features based on real customer needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the vision and product features end to end
- Deeply understanding customers and the enterprise marketing space
- Delivering products from customer need to final shipped feature
- Collaborating with customers to research and design solutions
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industry experience shipping product features, a startup mindset, and familiarity with the tech stack (React + TypeScript frontend, Go backend). Experience at Series A–C startups that scaled quickly is a plus. The company values intellectually curious engineers who get excited about edge cases and side projects.
This is a full-time, in-person role requiring 5 days per week in San Francisco.
