Great Question is an AI-powered customer research platform used by leading teams at Gusto, Experian, Canva, and Brex. The company raised a $13M Series A and is rebuilding core product features around agentic AI. As a Product Engineer, you'll own problems end-to-end: from customer conversations through production validation. You'll work across the full stack—Rails APIs, React/TypeScript frontends, video streaming, realtime voice agents, agentic search, and product analytics. PM support is light; you're trusted to find solutions based on customer proximity and product sense. You'll spend time analyzing interview transcripts and product analytics to understand problems, build prototypes to test approaches, and develop technical plans. You'll use AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) as core tools throughout your workflow—not just for coding, but for research, prototyping, and QA. You own whatever ships, regardless of who typed it. The role requires strong full-stack expertise with production systems experience. You should have ~5+ years of real ownership, ideally with shipped LLM-powered features. You live in an agentic coding harness daily and have strong opinions about your setup. You ship features where you decide what to build and can defend UX decisions. Clear writing is essential in this remote, async-heavy environment. The team operates with high trust and low ceremony: main goes to production with fast, automated CI as the gate. You'll have access to latest tools and models with generous token budgets. In your first 90 days, you'll merge PRs on day one, ship into live areas by 30 days, and own a product surface by 60 days.
