Mollie is a fast-growing European fintech (900+ employees across 12+ locations) on a mission to make payments and money management effortless for businesses. The company serves 250,000+ customers with an all-in-one platform for payments, money management, and growth.
You will lead the Partner Scale team within In Person Payments, a greenfield initiative focused on device fleet management at scale. This is a rare opportunity to build a new product area from scratch. You'll own the end-to-end commercial relationship with Mollie's key partners and large multi-store merchants, working with a dedicated engineering team to deliver a solution that enables partners to manage hundreds or thousands of devices programmatically.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the complete product strategy and roadmap for Partner Scale, maintaining close relationships with key partners and customers.
- Drive the device management solution from proof of concept to General Availability.
- Define KPIs for performance and reliability metrics.
- Automate manual processes across the device lifecycle (ordering, deployment, configuration, customization).
- Empower partners and merchants to control their device fleet independently.
- Represent your domain in senior forums and drive cross-functional alignment.
You'll have hands-on ownership of product decisions and will work closely with your engineering team rather than focusing on process management. The role offers the opportunity to build a meaningful distribution channel from the ground up and grow alongside the product area as Mollie expands across Europe.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of building products from scratch and/or scaling them.
- Experience running and managing a team of developers.
- Strong commercial acumen with genuine customer empathy from direct user and customer engagement.
- Technical background (some form of technical foundation required).
- Ability to work independently, represent your domain at senior levels, and drive cross-functional alignment without heavy management support.
