Simbe Robotics is seeking a Senior Product Data Management Analyst to serve as a critical bridge between Engineering, Operations, and Suppliers for the company's robotic products, including the Tally autonomous shelf-scanning robot. This role owns the administration of Simbe's PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tool and data, ensuring traceability and audit-readiness as the company scales globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Change Order Management: Author and drive change orders (ECOs, MCOs, Deviations) through full approval workflows, coordinating cross-functional stakeholder sign-offs and communicating changes to suppliers and contract manufacturers while tracking implementation and effectivity dates.
PLM Administration: Administer the Arena PLM tool including user/supplier access, workflow definition, and approval matrix configuration. Serve as business owner of the Item Master, BOM Master, Approved Vendor List, and enforce data integrity across all hardware programs.
Process & Standards: Develop and enforce change order processes, revision/version control policies, BOM structuring guidelines, and documentation standards. Issue part numbers, enforce part numbering conventions, and continuously drive PDM/PLM process improvements.
Supplier & Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Supply Chain to drive change implementation with contract manufacturers and component suppliers. Work closely with Engineering to ensure accurate documentation and complete data release. Track supplier commitment dates through closure.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a PDM or Document Control Analyst administering a PLM tool on a world-class product change control team
- Subject Matter Expert in PDM/PLM processes including BOM structuring, revision/version management, material disposition, and supplier implementation
- Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers across time zones and language barriers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Rigorous attention to detail and data accuracy
- Process discipline and ability to enforce standards
- Strong collaboration skills across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and external suppliers
- Passion for Simbe's mission to transform retail through autonomous robotics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Arena PLM experience strongly preferred
- Ability to excel in high-velocity environments while maintaining focus under pressure
