Salary: USD 141,000 - 193,600 / annual
Okta is seeking a Product Acceleration Specialist to drive the deployment and implementation of new identity and access management products. In this role, you will collaborate with Product, Go-To-Market, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering teams to support customer goals and accelerate product adoption.
You will serve as a bridge between customers and internal teams, understanding business challenges and crafting technical solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Product Management, Product Marketing, and GTM teams to support new product launches and customer strategies
- Communicate product capabilities and features to customers and internal stakeholders, demonstrating value and differentiation
- Understand customer business outcomes and develop technical solutions to address their challenges
- Strategize with account teams on solution positioning for new Okta products
- Provide field and customer feedback to Product and Product Marketing teams on new offerings
- Conduct hands-on technical implementation, troubleshooting, and testing of identity products
- Advocate for product adoption through content creation and community engagement
- Support a global, distributed team across multiple time zones
This is an ideal role for someone passionate about identity and access management who wants to accelerate their expertise in the Okta platform while working directly with enterprise customers.
**Requirements:**
- 4+ years of technical experience delivering identity solutions to external customers (Professional Services, Sales Engineering, Support, or similar)
- 2+ years of software sales or pre-sales experience selling identity solutions to large enterprise customers
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Hands-on experience with multiple Okta products, with demonstrated proficiency in at least 2 core product areas
- Background in identity and access management with foundational knowledge of Okta product offerings
- Familiarity with identity federation and user management protocols (SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM)
- Knowledge of enterprise web technologies and cloud architectures
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and frameworks (e.g., NIST)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and orchestration tools
- Familiarity with common access control models (RBAC, ABAC)
- Familiarity with governance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Strong communication skills: ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong active listening skills and ability to understand customer business goals
Preferred qualifications:
- Programming or scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) or Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH)
