Aescape is a robotics and AI company building intelligent massage systems that deliver personalized bodywork through real-time body mapping and advanced robotics. The company powers recovery across premium fitness, hospitality, and wellness environments including Equinox, Life Time, Marriott, and Four Seasons, serving 12,000+ users monthly.
As Producer, Massage Content, you will own the creation, refinement, and deployment of massage content that powers Aescape's robot fleet. Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and refine scalable massage content using in-house developed post-production tools, working with Licensed Massage Therapists, software engineers, and product researchers
- Edit and upgrade existing massage content to improve quality, comfort, and effectiveness based on performance data and user feedback
- Conduct hands-on testing and research validation of new massage techniques
- Review performance dashboards and user feedback surveys to identify high-impact improvement areas
- Investigate and document system interruptions affecting user experience
- Catalog and maintain Aescape's internal library of massages and techniques
- Identify opportunities to improve internal software tools and workflows
- Collaborate directly with Licensed Massage Therapists, Engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders on bodywork technique development
This is a fast-moving role at the intersection of robotics, technology, and anatomy, requiring a sharp eye for detail and genuine passion for bodywork and human movement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years producing and editing content across DAWs or editing software (Adobe, Avid, Premiere, Audition, Pro Tools)
- 3+ years managing post-production assets, footage, libraries, and archives
- Strong physical intuition with background in massage, anatomy, physiology, bodywork, or fitness (e.g., massage therapist, trainer, athlete) OR significant personal experience with injury recovery/rehabilitation
- Empathy for and genuine curiosity about end-user experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail on repetitive tasks
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to drive and deliver production timelines
- Ability to draw insights from data dashboards
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Familiarity with biomedical engineering, gait rehabilitation, physics, or similar field
- Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine
- Experience as editor or technical operator at a tech startup
- Creative hobbies or outlets outside work
- Unconventional career path (e.g., video editing into tech, or technical field into creative)
