Hims & Hers, a leading telehealth and wellness platform (NYSE: HIMS), is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage indirect goods and services procurement for multiple operational sites. This role is central to executing end-to-end procurement processes while maintaining quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
Key responsibilities include processing and managing purchase orders across multiple sites, tracking and tracing deliveries, and coordinating with internal stakeholders on order status. You'll monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts, anticipate departmental needs, and assist with physical inventory management as required. Vendor coordination is critical—you'll communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, ensure service guarantees, and resolve issues. You'll also maintain comprehensive records by verifying delivery receipts, order confirmations, and inventory levels, updating systems, and auditing billing discrepancies.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 3–5 years in pharmaceutical purchasing, operations, or similar roles. Familiarity with procurement software (NetSuite, SAP, or ERP systems) is a plus. You'll need strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, effective communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform warehouse duties.
This position involves working with hazardous drugs and requires wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, respiratory protection, gown, and other items as needed. Medical approval for respiratory protection is mandatory. Physical exertion is substantial: walking up to 50% of shifts, standing up to 100%, squatting/bending up to 20%, and lifting up to 80% of the time for shifts up to 12 hours. You must confirm understanding of potential reproductive risks associated with handling hazardous drugs.
