Anduril Industries is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its Supply Chain team in Sydney. This role is central to managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle and driving sourcing initiatives for a defense technology company focused on advanced military systems and AI-powered autonomy. Key responsibilities include creating and managing purchase orders to meet production and program needs, maintaining supplier relationships, and monitoring supplier performance across quality, delivery, and pricing metrics. You will resolve supply chain disruptions and delivery delays to keep projects on track, expedite orders to meet production schedules, and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company objectives. Additional duties involve maintaining accurate procurement records, tracking KPIs, and identifying process improvement opportunities. You will support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for direct commodities and categories, document and report on supplier performance, and participate in regular review processes. The role also encompasses the full supplier lifecycle—from selection and adoption through induction, ongoing management, and exit where applicable—and supports continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings, quality enhancement, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of technical procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong Procure-to-Pay (P2P) expertise. You should excel at launching new products, managing multiple priorities, and building scalable standard operating procedures. Required skills include excellent documentation and communication abilities, strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities, and the ability to interpret design specifications. You must demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills, problem-solving acumen, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, constantly changing environment with high attention to detail.
