Candescent, a fintech company transforming digital banking and branch solutions for financial institutions, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing activities from their Atlanta headquarters.
You will own end-to-end procurement across indirect categories including Technology, Professional Services, Marketing, Facilities, and Strategic Partnerships, supporting global business operations. This is a hands-on management role requiring deep engagement with sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
Key responsibilities include:
• Execute sourcing strategies across assigned categories through market analysis, supplier identification, and total cost of ownership modeling
• Lead RFx events (RFI, RFP, RFQ) from requirements gathering through award recommendation, partnering with technical and business stakeholders
• Conduct supplier negotiations on commercial terms, SLAs, pricing, and contractual protections to deliver measurable savings and risk mitigation
• Draft, review, and negotiate supplier contracts (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, amendments) in partnership with Legal
• Maintain contract repository hygiene and proactively manage renewals, expirations, and rate escalations
• Serve as procurement business partner to assigned functions, translating business requirements into clear sourcing scopes
• Manage ongoing supplier relationships, including performance reviews for top suppliers and continuous improvement initiatives
• Analyze category spend to identify consolidation, demand management, and cost reduction opportunities
• Operate procurement workflows in platforms like Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, or Workday
• Track and report KPIs including savings, cycle time, and contract compliance
You bring 10–15 years of progressive procurement or strategic sourcing experience, preferably in technology, financial services, or BPO industries. You have demonstrated success leading sourcing events and negotiating commercial agreements with technology and services suppliers. Strong working knowledge of contract terms (including SaaS and cloud agreements), hands-on experience with major procurement platforms, and proficiency in Excel for spending analytics are essential. You communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and can influence across functions.
Preferred qualifications include professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM), experience supporting multinational organizations with cross-time-zone teams, exposure to fintech/banking software or regulated financial services, and familiarity with supplier diversity and ESG considerations.
