Salary: USD 130,000 - 150,000 / annual
Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries including food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate to deploy and scale robotic systems in real-world environments.
As Procurement Manager, you will own vendor strategy, cost optimization, and contract governance across key categories including facilities, equipment, utilities, and services. You will partner cross-functionally with Real Estate, Facilities, Operations, and Finance to drive disciplined spend, improve service levels, and unlock measurable savings at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead procurement and sourcing strategies for construction projects, materials, equipment, and services from planning through completion
- Partner with Construction, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other teams to understand project needs and develop sourcing strategies
- Source, evaluate, and manage general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and suppliers across multiple projects
- Lead RFx/RFP processes, analyze bids and proposals, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and execute supplier agreements
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while balancing project quality, timelines, and operational requirements
- Manage key vendor relationships including performance, pricing, contracts, payment terms, risk, and compliance
- Partner with construction teams to ensure materials and services are sourced and delivered according to project schedules
- Monitor market trends, material costs, vendor capacity, and supply risks that could impact construction timelines or budgets
- Develop and improve procurement processes, tools, reporting, and vendor management practices as the company scales
- Manage multiple sourcing initiatives independently and provide recommendations to senior leadership
This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong negotiation skills, data-driven decision making, and the ability to build and manage vendor relationships across a national footprint. Success means delivering cost savings, increasing contract coverage, standardizing procurement processes, and ensuring operators have the infrastructure and support they need.
The role is based in the Austin office with five-day-per-week onsite work.

- Data-driven thinker comfortable working with large datasets, leveraging analytics and market insights to inform decisions and unlock efficiencies at scale
