Mistral is a full-stack AI company providing frontier models, developer tools, applications, and compute infrastructure. The company partners with enterprises across finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector to co-create customized AI systems. As Procurement Category Manager for Workplace & Marketing, you will own indirect spend optimization across these high-impact categories. You will define and execute procurement strategies for workplace services, facilities, events, and marketing spend, driving measurable cost savings and operational efficiency as Mistral scales globally. Key responsibilities include: - Leading global negotiations on indirect spend categories to achieve cost reductions - Developing and executing tailored procurement strategies for Workplace & Marketing - Identifying, managing, and renegotiating existing contracts and renewals - Building and managing supplier panels to reduce fragmentation and improve governance - Rationalizing tool usage and consolidating internal needs with business stakeholders - Managing procurement projects end-to-end, from RFP through contract execution - Contributing to procurement digitization through P2P tool adoption You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across the organization to rationalize contracts, reduce complexity, and optimize resource allocation. The role is critical to supporting Mistral's distributed operations across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East. Required qualifications: minimum 5 years as a Buyer or Category Manager, ideally with experience in Workplace, Marketing, or professional services categories. You should demonstrate strong negotiation skills with large providers, excellent project management capabilities, assertiveness and communication skills to build trusted relationships, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
